Since a lot of it is Torpedoes, make sure you fire them at enemies with less point-defence. Overall though, the way you use this ship is by ensuring your bow is always pointed towards your enemy when your front facing weapons are off cooldown, as that is most your firepower. The Star Mortar is also useful if you want a Mortar, but if you don't then you can put a Lancer or Cannon there too. A Lancer or Cannon in that slot also works though, or even a Harpoon if you want to be able to board. The Energy Net is very useful, but if you want more damage, then cannons or lancers can go there instead, the Arcturian Fire is quite good, but has an anti synergy with the net as one destroys sails, and the other relies on enemy sails to drain energy. Additionally, the bank for the Energy Net and Arcturian Fire also face forward. Actually, the front two from that bank face forward, so having two extra long range Plasma Cannons facing forward can be very useful.
